The “Journey to Bethlehem”, a yearly tradition at Crocker Christian Church, will be held again this year, on December 8 and 9. Plans and work on the production will begin in October, and more information will be forthcoming.

The “Journey” tells the Biblical account of the trip made by Joseph and Mary as they traveled for the census taken in Bethlehem, and details the difficulties that they and others experienced on their long journey. The program culminates with a stop at the stable where we find Joseph, Mary and the newborn Savior.

Those attending become a part of the journey as they walk the road to Bethlehem and experience what it was like for Joseph and Mary and all who were taking the trip for the Roman census.

It is an emotional and realistic depiction of the events leading up to and following the birth of Jesus
Christ.

We invite everyone to attend this free presentation of the real meaning of Christmas.
