Sympathy and love are expressed to Dustin Moss in the loss of his grandmother, Lisa's mother, in Ames, Iowa. May God comfort you all in the loss of your loved one.

The LOCEF meeting for August will be here at the church on August 9. The meeting begins at 7 p.m., with dinner, followed by the men's meeting.  Marshall Conklin, from Iberia, will be speaking.

The Outreach Committee will meet at 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 1.

We're looking for people who want to sing in our Christmas cantata: we will be doing a familiar one, and we NEED people (MEN, please JOIN us) to sing.  We will begin practices early so that we can have a lot of time to practice!

The college age group and their friends will be attending a Springfield Cardinals game on August 14.  They will leave at 3 p.m.  Tickest are $11. each.

CIY begins on August 1.  The youth and their sponsors will go to Carbondale, Illinois for the conference. Please be in prayer for safety of travel for them.  This is always a week of spiritual growth for our youth, and they covet your prayers as they grow in their walk in Christ throughout this week.

We currently have 3 adult classes on Wednesday night: Hebrews, Colossians and a class on Forgiveness. We invite anyone who is interested to attend.  There are also classes for children of all ages.

Food pantry items for the local food pantry for August:  boxed foods of any kind.

The women's wellness and fitness program meets every Monday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m.  All are welcome.

Crocker Schools begin the new school year on August 16.  Be in prayer for the upcoming school year.

All ladies interested in scrapbooking: Scrapbooking will begin on Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.  All ladies who are interested are encouraged to come, bring a snack, and enjoy scrapbooking and fellowship.
