Ladies Day Circle Leader: Kay York The Ladies Day Circle first began back in the 1930's. Their original name was Ladies Day Aid; their original purpose was for fellowship and quilting. They charged a small fee for their quilts and with the money they received they purchased a furnace that was installed in the church building. Some of the original members were Raney Faust, Dessie Barlow, Lulu Sparks, Millie Ledbetter, and Blanche Mace.
Our current Ladies Day Circle meets the second Wednesday of every month. They continue to serve by supporting families of lost ones (organizing, cooking, and cleaning for the funeral dinners), sponsor bridal showers, assist in special meals, sponsor cookbooks, help fund material for our Journey to Bethlehem, and many other things.
Ladies Day Circle is an invaluable part of our church family. We appreciate all they have done. If you are interested in joining the Ladies Day Circle and helping our community make sure you come to the next meeting.
